About Our lessons

Group Lessons: Small Groups of 3

We have curated our mat lessons with one thing in mind – building and transforming your body using the Pilates Method. These sessions are repetitive enough so you can receive the benefits and varied enough to keep you challenged!

Infinite Mat

Includes Mat Pilates + the Tower system of springs, roll down bar, push through bar and other Pilates exercises.

Levels of Pilates

Fundamental Pilates lays the groundwork to build and transform your body. It is the starting point and also a place to return if you have injuries.

These lessons are suitable for all fitness levels, as our teachers customize exercises for each individual. In addition to full-body workouts, fundamental lessons establish a language foundation for understanding teacher instructions.

The mat program covers the first 25 fundamental exercises out of the full repertoire of 66. These exercises teach movement skills applicable to real life and sports, including transitions between exercises. Pilates Principles emphasized in fundamental lessons are concentration, utilizing the powerhouse, and maintaining proper alignment. The sessions help develop stability, strength, and flexibility.

At the intermediate level, you have built strength, stability, stretch, and stamina through your fundamental lessons. You are now ready to be introduced to the 18 intermediate exercises. These will challenge you with new orientations to gravity and further improve your coordination, strength, stretch, and stamina!

In other words…you’ve received benefits and transformation so far but to get even more, you need to challenge yourself further. We believe in safely progressing you, and we have all kinds of ways that we build you into the Intermediate mat exercises!

Pilates Principles focused on in Intermediate: all the fundamental principles listed above plus deeper control, greater stamina, and refined precision.

Intermediate lessons are by invitation only.

Pilates advanced exercises are challenging, exhilarating, and give you a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Because every Pilates exercise is full-body, to begin your advanced practice means you are approaching what we call “uniform development.”

This is a term Mr. Pilates coined, and it means that your body is balanced in strength and stretch. You will be much less injury-prone and you move in gravity with greater ease. We will safely guide you into these challenging exercises.

Advanced group lessons are by “invitation” only.

Pilates Principles focused on in Advanced: all the prior plus fluidity, tempo, and dynamic movement.
