What To Expect at Your First Visit

Starting something new can feel intimidating, but your first visit to our Wichita Pilates studio is relaxed, supportive, and designed to help you feel right at home.

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in and get comfortable.

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing — no zippers or belts, please. Bring grip socks if you have them.

Bring water to stay hydrated during your session.

Expect personal attention. Our sessions are small — only 1 to 3 clients — so your instructor can focus on your form and comfort.

Ask questions. Truly. We’re here to help you understand each movement and how it supports your progress.

To get started, your consultation is the first step. It’s a relaxed, one-on-one meeting with a certified instructor who wants to understand you — your goals, your lifestyle, and your movement story.

We'll discuss:

  • Your health and fitness goals
  • Any injuries or movement limitations
  • Your experience with Pilates or other exercise
  • What type of lesson structure will help you succeed
  • How your body moves — we’ll do some simple movements to see your posture, strength, and
    flexibility

By the end, you’ll have a clear, customized plan made just for you.

Which Class Is Right for Me?

Every client is different. So, we offer different ways to experience Pilates based on your comfort level and goals:

Private Lessons

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely — leggings and a fitted tank top work great. At our Wichita Pilates studio, avoid zippers, belts, or loose items that can catch on the equipment. Grip socks are recommended for safety and better control during movements.

Our Wichita Pilates studio keeps classes small. Whether you get started with private one-on-one lessons or join a small group session, every class at Today Pilates is designed to help you succeed. With a maximum of three clients per group, you’ll always get the attention and feedback you need for lasting results.
